Flower essences

  • Presentation

Flower essences are part of a holistic approach to health.

They are complementary or alternative practices, focused on emotional states. They do not directly address the physical symptoms, but the emotional and mental components that accompany them.

Bach flowers were discovered by Edouard Bach, an English doctor, homeopath, bacteriologist and immunologist at the beginning of the 20th century. He was convinced that the state of mind plays an important role in maintaining good health.

He therefore developed a simple and natural method to manage and harmonise emotions. According to him, the emotional imbalance linked to negative emotions has an impact on the overall balance and is at the source of all our ailments.

The principle of the method is to restore harmony of mind to help the body mobilise its self-healing forces and develop greater receptivity to other treatments. Flowers provide additional support to any therapy and medical follow-up (without ever replacing it).
